This map shows the itinerary of The Good Soldier Švejk from Prague to the front in Galicia. The list of geographical names is sorted in ascending chronological order. The text describing the places Švejk visited, appears when clicking the place marks, the side bar or the "Show details" button.
The map shows the names as they were written in 1914 in the official language of the respective locations. This often conflicts with the names Jaroslav Hašek used in the novel. The various translations of the novel may again use names which differ both from Hašek's names and official names. This is particularly the case with the German translation.
